'Brave the Shave' - Year 7 Student, Josephine
Year 7 student, Josephine has chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Josephine has decided to 'Brave the Shave'. She will be shaving her head in support and solidarity for anyone affected by cancer. This is extremely brave of Josephine and we are all very proud of her! Please see the link below for Josephine's donation page.
Throughout December, the staff and students at Mount St Joseph collected over 1000 tins for the Destitution Project.
The Destitution Project endeavours to provide tinned goods and also clothes and household goods for refused asylum seekers who are awaiting an appeal or who simply cannot return to their country of origin.
"Dear Students & Staff of Mount St Joseph,
Once more we at the Destitution Project are indebted to you, the staff and the students at Mount St Joseph's for the massive amount of tins and packets which were delivered this morning. Thank you so much for your generosity. These tins will keep us going for a very long time and this in its turn saves our money for other things.
We would like to wish you all a very happy New Year 2018 and thank you once more.
