Megan Price's Rugby career continues to soar.
2015 leaver Megan Price said in an interview with the 'Manchester Evening News' back in August 2014 that her ultimate aim was to one day represent England and inspire more girls to play rugby, and I can proudly say that not only has she achieved her dream of playing for the England 7's team but has also been selected as the captain of the team as well. Her rise in the game is pretty remarkable when you consider that she only started playing rugby for Eccles at the age of 12 as the only girl on an all boys team.
Since then she has played for Eccles RFC under 18's, Lancashire under 15's girls team as well as the north of England rugby union squad, as well as being invited to train at Twickenham (the home of English Rugby Union). We wish Megan ever success for the future and look forward to seeing her career as an England International player develop in the years ahead as she continues to play the sport that she has grown to love.
