Mount St Joseph wishes all our pupils to travel to school safely. 

The school bus services are currently being reviewed and the timetable will be put on the school website as soon as the routes and timings have been completed by TfGM.

Advice remains that students should avoid the school bus or public transport where possible as space will be limited due to social distancing.  If possible, pupils should walk or cycle to school unless there is no alternative. If the school bus or public transport must be used, spaces will be limited and pupils must follow Government guidance on safe travel by wearing a face covering, keeping their distance and washing their hands regularly.  Tickets can be purchased online or via mobile apps.  An IGO pass is required.

Important information relating to TfGM’s Yellow School Bus Scheme:

 Under normal circumstances TfGM would by now have planned the Yellow School Bus services, notified schools and begun the process of allocating passes to students ready for the new academic year in September.

Due to the current exceptional circumstances, TfGM intend to remove the requirement for students to obtain a Yellow School Bus pass to travel on this service for September 2020. No current passes will remain valid beyond the end of this academic year.
