World Book Day at MSJ!

Staff and students at Mount St Joseph School will celebrate World Book Day on Friday, 6th March.

On Friday 6th March, Malcolm Rose, author of ‘Kiss of Death’ will be joining in the celebrations as Mount St Joseph celebrates World Book Day.
World Book Day aims to help children explore the pleasure of books. Special activities on the day will include KS3 students being invited to dress up as their favourite character, special World Book Day lessons and a visit from Malcolm Rose.
Malcolm Rose will be giving an assembly to Year 8 and Year 9 students, where he will discuss his new series of books; Year 7 are being treated to an assembly about ‘Kiss of Death’ which is currently being studied in English.
After the assemblies, there will be an opportunity for some lucky students to work with Malcolm Rose in a specialist creative writing workshop.
In addition to this, all Key Stage 3 students will be given a World Book Day £1 book token, which can be spent in local book shops.
